The Black Stars of Ghana have departed for Morocco as they prepare for their second match in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Following a tough opening game against Angola, where Ghana suffered a late 1-0 defeat at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the team is determined to bounce back.
In their previous match, a last-minute goal from Angola’s Felício Joao Milson denied Ghana a positive start to their qualifying campaign. Despite a solid performance, the Black Stars were unable to capitalise on their chances.
This morning, the team held a recovery training session to regroup before boarding their flight to Morocco for the crucial encounter against Niger. The match is scheduled for Monday, September 9, and is vital for head coach Otto Addo and his squad as they aim to keep their qualification hopes alive.
