Ghanaian midfielder Enock Morrison has rendered an apology to Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak for brushing-off their deal to sign for Gor Mahia FC in Kenya.
Enock Morrison was released by Kumasi Asante Kotoko after the just ended season of the Ghana Premier League. In view of that, the player was strongly linked Hearts of Oak and was willing to join.
However, the former King Faisal player has signed for Gor Mahia and has revealed Hearts of Oak delayed in completing the transfer but has apologised to them.
“Hearts of Oak did not communicate with me directly, which made the deal more complicated. I knew they were interested in me, but for one or two reasons, the process took longer than anticipated. If the delay hadn’t happened, I would have played for Hearts of Oak.” He told Akoma FM.
“During our multiple meetings, the Hearts coach expressed interest and explained how I would fit into his team. Because both of us were interested in the deal, I cannot hold Hearts responsible for its failure. I can only say that because it was not intentional, they should accept my apologies in this regard,” Enock Morrison said.
The 24-year-old played 22 games for Kotoko in the GPL, scored once and assisted twice.
