Ghana Premier League winners, FC Samartex 1996 have been crowned as champions of the 2024 edition of the Nsenkyire Cup.
Samartex recorded a 1-0 victory over Legon Cities to win the four-team tournament on Sunday.
Samartex cruised to an emphatic 4-0 win over Nsoatreman FC in their first game. The host of the tournament drew 2-2 with Nations FC in 90 minutes before beating Legon Cities on Sunday.
The cup was aimed to help teams that featured to prepare for the upcoming season of the Ghana Premier League. Samartex will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League too.
