Emmanuel Yeboah: Ghana U23 star on tagert as Brøndby IF advances in UEFA Europa Conference League

Ghana U23 forward Emmanuel Yeboah made a notable contribution for Brøndby IF in their UEFA Europa Conference League qualification match on Thursday.

Yeboah’s goal helped Brøndby progress to the next round after securing an 8-2 aggregate victory over Kosovan side FK Llapi.

In the second leg, played at the Zahir Pajaziti Stadium, FK Llapi took the lead with a goal from midfielder Elvir Gashijan in the 42nd minute.

However, Yeboah responded early in the second half to equalize for Brøndby, marking his third goal of the qualification campaign. The assist came from teenager Oscar Schwartau.

Brøndby took their first lead of the match when Norwegian forward Ohi Omoijuanfo converted a penalty kick in the 61st minute.

Despite an own goal by Brøndby goalkeeper Thomas Mekkelsen that restored parity for Llapi, the Kosovan side could not overturn the deficit from the first leg, where Brøndby had won 6-0.
