Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Glid Otanga has joined Qatari side Al Kharaitiyat on a loan deal.
The Congolese midfielder has joined the newly promoted side ahead of the new season for the Qatari league as they seek to make a mark in their new adventure.
The midfielder has a chance to stay for another year in his contract after the loan deal. Hearts of Oak have received $20,000 for the deal.
“Hearts of Oak midfielder, Glid Otanga has joined us on a season long loan with an option for a permanent move. ” Al Kharaitiyat SC announced.
Glid Otanga joined Accra Hearts of Oak in 2022 and won the MTN FA Cup with the team. He made 26 appearances for the Phobians last season.
