Dr. Richard Duah Nsenkyire has inspired the FC Samartex team, urging the players to honor Ghana and make their supporters proud in the upcoming CAF Champions League. This marks the Timber Giants’ debut in the prestigious inter-club competition, following their unique victory in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
Addressing the players at their training camp in the Eastern region, Dr. Nsenkyire highlighted the importance of unity and the collective effort of each player. He encouraged them to bring their individual strengths and skills to the forefront to achieve excellence and make a lasting impact.
“Lads, we cannot let Ghana and our supporters down, so let’s put in a prismatic fight to hoist the flag of Ghana in a remarkable way,” he said. “Let’s bring our individual abilities to the table to write a very good story for ourselves.”
The Green and White squad will face Victoria United FC in Cameroon for the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, before hosting them at the Accra Sports Stadium for the second leg.
