Antoine Semenyo has earned the trust of Bournemouth authorities and is reportedly on the verge of agreeing to a five-year contract extension, according to UK reports.
The 24-year-old initially joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023 on a four-and-a-half-year deal. His integration into Iraola’s preferred 4-3-3 system, often operating from the right wing, has been instrumental to the team’s strategy.
Semenyo, who emerged as a pivotal player under head coach Andoni Iraola last season, showcased his prowess with 36 appearances and eight goals across various competitions.
Having started his career at Bristol City, Semenyo made his professional debut during the 2017-18 season. His journey included loan spells at Bath City, Newport County, and Sunderland before returning to Bristol City and subsequently moving to Bournemouth.

The team is gearing up for fixtures against Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, and Everton in August as they aim for a strong start to the season.
