Joao Palhinha is on the brink of joining Bayern Munich, with Fulham agreeing to a €46m (£38m/$48m) transfer fee. The Portuguese midfielder is set to make his move to the Bundesliga after extensive negotiations between the clubs.
Palhinha is expected to undergo his medical examination following the European Championship, marking the final step in the transfer process.

Throughout the negotiations, Palhinha has been clear about his desire to join Bayern, and he has already agreed to personal terms with the club, signing a contract until 2028.
Fulham initially held firm on their £60m ($76m) valuation, a major talking point in the transfer saga. Despite Bayern’s efforts to lower the fee, the final agreement of €46m plus add-ons represents a compromise, allowing Palhinha to pursue a new challenge in Germany.
