Ghana’s Black Queens have begun camping for preparation ahead of their crucial friendly game against Japan, creating lovely scenes with their stylish arrival.
Head coach Nora Hauptle has called up 33 players for the match, which will take place on July 13 at the Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium in Tokyo.
Most of the squad, including England-based players Freda Ayisi, Princella Adubea, and Bridget Adu, have already arrived for the training camp.
The team, set to return to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) for the first time since 2018, showcased their fashion prowess with a variety of fabric-wrapped outfits.

The team will train in Ghana for a few days before departing for Japan. The friendly match will serve as preparation for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, following the Black Queens’ successful qualification for the tournament in Morocco.
Meanwhile, Japan are gearing up for the Olympic Games, a spot Ghana narrowly missed after losing to Zambia in the qualifiers.
